Midland County Warrant RecordsMidland County Warrant Records

Use the office listed for the kind of record you need. Start with the case paper. Midland County Warrant Services handles selected county warrants; the Midland County Clerk maintains County Court misdemeanor records, and Midland Municipal Court handles city citations. Felony court files, Sheriff incident records, and JP cases follow separate routes. Confirm the correct address and hours before a visit because public county pages give conflicting Warrant Services and JP locations. Ask for a record custodian when requesting a copy.

This Is Not a Government Office. Midland County Warrant Records cannot confirm a warrant, change a court file, collect payment, arrange a surrender, or post bond. For a current answer, use the office named on the citation or court paper.

Where to Ask About Official Warrant Information

These offices keep different records. Call the clerk or warrant line that matches the case rather than sending the same request to every department.

  • City citations: Midland Municipal Court, 201 E Texas; warrant information 432-685-7308; ticket information 432-685-7314; court@midlandtexas.gov.

The Warrant Services page describes county warrant scope and the vendor lookup. The County Clerk page and District Clerk page give current court-record contacts. For Sheriff copies, use the County open-records instructions and the Sheriff request form.

Midland County pages give conflicting in-person locations for Warrant Services and some JP offices. Confirm the exact address, hours, and accepted payment method by phone before visiting or mailing money.

County Warrant Follow-Up

Warrant Services is listed at 301 S Main on its program page, while the County Locations guide gives 707 W Washington and a 709 W Washington warrant entrance. The desk’s scope is active arrest warrants from JP Courts and County Courts. The linked vendor asks for a last name paired with a case number, date of birth, or driver-license number. Its “currently not found or not payable online” response and 48-hour wait message do not confirm that a warrant is cleared. Call 432-688-4700 and ask which court has the file. The separate Warrant Section line is 432-688-4680.

Justice Court Contacts

Each precinct has its own clerk route: JP1 is 432-688-4721, with criminal clerks at 432-688-4743 or 432-688-4748; JP2 is 432-688-4722 and lists jp2criminal@mcounty.com; JP3 is 432-688-4723 and lists pbrown@mcounty.com; JP4 is 432-688-4724 and lists jp24clerks@co.midland.tx.us. JP2 and JP4 materials describe written or in-person inquiries, or an attorney appearance, and say a phone call does not count as an appearance. Confirm the correct counter address before traveling because county pages disagree.

Records and Case Copies

Sheriff Records is at 1703 E County Road 120, Building A, Midland, Texas 79706. Its contact is 432-688-4660, mrecords@mcounty.com, and fax 432-688-4972. A request should identify the record, such as an incident number and date. The County says a public-information response may take 10 business days, may be extended, and may involve an Attorney General review or a fee. Ask for a document rather than asking staff to determine a legal status.

The County Clerk’s fourth-floor office at 500 N Loraine handles County Court and County Courts at Law records, including criminal misdemeanors; contact 432-688-4402 or ccmisdcopy@mcounty.com, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The District Clerk’s felony records office is in Suite 300 at that address, at 432-688-4500, also weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. These clerk files do not merge with the four JP dockets.

City Citation Contacts

Midland Municipal Court is at 201 E Texas in Midland. The warrant line is 432-685-7308, ticket questions go to 432-685-7314, and the main court number is 432-685-7300. The court email is court@midlandtexas.gov. The city portal has its own citation search and payment path; it is not the County Warrant Services search. An appearance is generally required within 14 calendar days, and a mailed payment may not end a warrant until it is received and posted. Confirm the current deadline and payment status with the court.

Contact channels explain where to ask; they do not guarantee that a particular case is present in a public search. If the matter involves a felony failure to appear, the District Court pages direct people to an attorney or bondsman. If the concern involves multiple warrants, ask each issuing court or Warrant Services whether separate matters must be handled one at a time.
